a day in birmingham

Hi everyone,

I have a post today just on some things i bought whilst I was shopping in Birmingham with my mum and some boots I bought online which I thought I could show as well. My sister and her friend went to meet Marcus Butler at his book signing and me and my mum felt the best thing to do was go shopping haha!

First shop I went into was Urban Outfitters and bought myself a very cute water bottle that is perfect for school, when I go camping next week and when I start going to the gym in September. I will definitely use it a lot and it was only £2.40 in the sale, I couldn't say no!
Lets Work It

It is extremely cute and I love the slogan. I couldn't find the exact bottle online but I  found a similar but still cute water bottle that anyone can be interested in.

In UO  I bought my dad a grow your own chilli set as he loves chili's and I knew he would love it, It was only £6 so of course I had to get it.

I then went into the bullring and went into Forever 21. I love that shop as you can get some very nice clothing for very good prices!

My mum brought me this basic white shirt as I have been wanted one for the longest time and I would not pay nearly £40 for the same thing in topshop haha. This shirt was £14 but I think it is definitely worth it as you can wear it casually or dress it up with a nice skirt or trousers and a pair of heels.

Sorry bad picture!

I also bought these gym leggings/yoga pants. As said before I am going camping and starting the gym so these will be perfect for both of them. Also for lounging about in as they are so comfy for everyday wear. These leggings were £8 so again you can't go wrong.

I then went into boots as I needed a new foundation and a nice nail polish. My mum also picked up a few bits she wanted and needed.

This nail polish is by Miss Sporty and was £2. I picked it up as i was walking past as i love the colours it has. It's like holographic-y. I just loved the colours in it and really wanted a colour like this so I just had to get it.

I also needed a new foundation and this Rimmel Match Perfection is my absolute favourite! I use the shade 103, light ivory. It is medium coverage, I usually put two layers on my face (whoops), but the foundation suits my skin and agrees with it very well, its not heavy at all which I really like. It leaves your skin feeling quite smooth aswell. I would totally recommend if you're looking for a new foundation to try. It is £8 which is cheap compared to some foundations but if you don't really want to spend that money on a foundation I think it is completely worth it, and you will definitely get all the wear out of it you can.

I hope you have liked this, don't be shy to ask me any questions and follow my social medias!

Germany and Poland

Hi everyone,
this will be a tough one for me to write today but here goes. In March I went on a school trip to Germany and Poland. It was one of the best, sad and funniest week ever. I had a great group of friends with me and we all had such a good time, besides being on a coach for over 60 hours overall! But we made it through the 20 hour journey to Germany watching films,  being on a ferry, sleeping and playing card games! The 7 hour journey from Germany to Poland doing our makeup, watching films and playing card games. Then the 27 hour journey doing basically the same as we did on the way over!

Berlin is really nice and I would highly advise people to go there! We did some good shopping (MAC and NYX especially!) and some sightseeing of some really great places.

We then carried on our journey to Krakow, Poland. We stayed in a lovely hotel called the Wyspianski which was also a short walk from the town square. Krakow is a really beautiful town which wasn't extremely busy whilst we were there. The real reason we were in Poland was to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau. This was one of the biggest Nazi death camps in World War 2 and to visit there felt so important to me. Some people may find it really boring but once you get there you feel so many different emotions, seeing the conditions the people there lived in you feel quite bad for being there in so many layers and eating a hot meal every night, but once you've done the indoor tour and the tour of Birkenau,it really hits home what the Nazi's did to those poor people and you cant even imagine what they really felt like

Sorry for being such a sad blog post today, I felt this was necessary to inform people about.
